Operations of Trance Music USA, located in Delaware County near Philadelphia, PA... TMU - Owned by Bill Gallagher who has the passion and loves Trance. I got in to techno back in 1993-1994 all thanks to computer demos from Future Crew and some other coders who made graphic demos for computers back in the day. The Music you are hearing is a sound track from a Demo. The Demo came out in 1993. This is the very first time I heard anything of it's sort. Then from there when mp3's started going around I got on some Ftp sites and downloaded some music and I listen and I just got drawn in to it. Trance Music USA web site was made to help the Trance/Techno movement in the US. Most people in to this type of music understand it’s hard to listen to on radio or even buy in stores. A lot of times we have to special order a CD or DVD just to get what we want.. Yeah thanks to XM radio or Shoutcast we can listen to the music we all enjoy. Some people resort to illegal downloads just to get to hear what is so hard to get. I can agree with the try before the buy. But we all know, the try keeps on trying and not buying. All I will say if you like the music please at least try and support the artist.
So here we all are in 2008 and radio stations in some major cities don’t even think about playing trance. Well I want to change that. If people really like trance / techno or even house music we all need to tell the local radio stations and or write to the RIAA what we would like to hear. In Philadelphia it seems all we get on the radio is Oldies, Rap, Rock and some other type’s music. Just remember when writing a radio station you have to judge what station would even give it a try. Sagest playing trance on Friday or Saturday nights. It wouldn't hurt to try. Also, buying CD’s would also show the music industry, there is room for other types like Trance or Techno etc.
